Performing clinical trials with non-invasive brain stimulation for recovery of brain function NIBS trials is complex. Specific technical infrastructure and expertise, in addition to the usual clinical trial infrastructure, are needed, and stimulation protocols must be integrated with rehabilitation therapy, which poses challenges due to variations in site-specific practice patterns of front-line clinicians. To facilitate the implementation of clinical trials, CanStim is developing and adjusting protocols and procedures for trial-related processes and procedures.
